“I set up CO₂ Target in 2011 because having worked in the electrical wholesale industry for 16 years I could see that too many companies were investing in poor energy solutions that didn’t deliver as promised and were then costing more to put right.

I found that really frustrating and it’s still often the case today.
The problem is that generally companies are being advised by suppliers who lack the in-depth knowledge of energy technology to specify the optimal package for their clients and obviously have an interest in specifying a particular solution. If a hammer’s all that you have in your toolkit, that’s all you’ll be able to offer. It also virtually guarantees that you will be paying more for your energy than you need to.
